SKYLINE
Il profilo di una città è ciò che più la caratterizza agli occhi degli spettatori del mondo; basta un monumento, una torre o una cupola per capire di quale luogo si parla e per evocare atmosfere suggestive ed incantevoli, sempre diverse, migliaia e migliaia di volte. Il "genius loci", o carattere di un luogo, si manifesta anche attraverso questo; e allora prende vita la mia Firenze, gemma tra le gemme, oppure lo skyline dei grattacieli delle città moderne, o ancora un profilo arabeggiante, eco lontana di magie alla "Mille e una notte."
The profile of a city is what most characterizes it in the eyes of the spectators of the world; just a monument, a tower or dome to understand where it comes and to evoke suggestive atmospheres and charming, always different, thousands and thousands of times.
The "genius loci", or character of a place, manifested through this; and then comes to life my Florence, bud between the buds, or the skyline of skyscrapers of modern cities, or even an arabic profile, distant eco of spells to "Thousand and One Nights."
